It may not be very sunny today, but the start of Wimbledon means that summer has officially begun!
The great British tennis competition’s qualifying rounds begin today, June 21, and it’s also the longest day of the year.
And, what better way to ring in the new season than with a very Wimbledon bowl of strawberries and cream?
Except, wait, because you can now try the dessert in an entirely new way – and, we’re not sure how to feel about it.
Crisp brand Doritos has unveiled its strawberries and cream flavoured tortilla chips. Yeah, we know, sounds weird.
On Instagram, the brand wrote: “Strawberries and cream Doritos, you didn’t ask for them, but you’ll definitely want to try them.”
Not much is known about the new corn-based snack except that it will come in 180g bags and will be branded with a strawberries and cream design.
But, that didn’t stop hundreds of Doritos fans commenting their thoughts on the new, bizarre flavour.
One person said: “You know when something really bad happens and you don’t want to watch but you also can’t look away?”
“DoritNOs,” joked another.
While a third added: “Definitely keen to try!”
And another wrote: “Hm idk how I feel about this.”
Same, girl, same.
Plenty branded the new crisps “disgusting” and “grim”.
