A couple who thought their hotel room had tinted windows were left red-faced after an onlooker saw them having sex and complained to reception.
Rebekka Mccabe shared a TikTok video of the moment they received a phone call from the hotel employee, who said the complainant had asked them to ‘cover their modesty’ and revealed the windows ‘aren’t privacy protected’.
Rebekka did not share the name of the hotel but viewers believe it is the Radisson Red, in Glasgow.
The clip of the embarrassing moment has gone viral, racking up more than 630,000 views.

In a viral TikTok video, Rebekka Mccabe (pictured) explained she had thought the windows of the Glasgow hotel, believed to be the Radisson Red, were tinted – but this turned out not to be the case

In the clip, Rebekka looks into the camera while the male guest, who was not named, picks up the hotel room phone and says: ‘Thanks for letting us know.’
After Rebekka asks ‘did someone complain?’, he explains: ‘People have said from the hotel across the room, you two need to cover your modesty [sic].
‘[The receptionist] said “I don’t care what you do but the glass is not privacy protected”.’

The revelation prompts Rebekka to say: ‘You told me it was!’
She shared the video with the warning: ‘Word to the wise, a very popular hotel in glasgow DOES NOT have tinted windows xxx.’
The video has racked up hundreds of comments from viewers who sympathised with Rebekka and questioned why the onlooker complained.
One posted: ‘Omg I’d be mortified!’ Another wrote: ‘Someone always has to ruin it.’
Another added: ‘Who sits there and looks long enough to know your room and floor and then to complain?’
Rebekka did not share the name of the hotel but several viewers suggested it was the Radisson Red.
One local employee added: ‘I work across from that hotel and it happens ALL the time. I mean literally every weekend.’
