Carl Woods sets sights on TV career but says hed be horrific on Im a Celeb

Katie Price's beau Carl Woods would love to go on ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

The 32-year-old chatted exclusively to the Daily Star at the Celeb MMA press conference last week.

The event took place at Lit nightclub in Clapham to promote the big fight night on June 24.

Carl said: "I would love to do stuff like the jungle – you can't do better than Katie in there, but to be fair I think I would be horrific in there because I would do none of that eating s***, but like tough s***, you're all going hungry.

"All of the daredevil stuff I'd be fine with though."

Katie starred on the popular show twice in 2004 and 2009.

He also touched upon his previous TV career, where he briefly featured on Love Island in 2016.

But he doesn't refer to himself as an Islander, as he said: "No, you can't say that I did, I was on there for like ten minutes, but I ain't a fame-hungry person, I'm not famous now, I'm not a celebrity, I'm not in that category I'm a normal guy, so I can't put myself in that category."

Carl, 32, also opened up about his relationship with the mum-of-five.

Talking about his relationship with Katie, Carl said: "We was never off track – we're good."

"Look, I am completely and utterly loyal, yeah, Katie will never have anyone as loyal as me, she just wouldn't. I'm an individual person, I'm a good worker, I'm close to my family, I'm just a normal guy."

Detailing what really goes on behind closed doors with the famous couple, Carl said: "It's normal family life, it's a normal life, we go and get takeaways and watch telly."

This comes after Carl's MMA opponent blasted his Katie, 43, and claimed that she is not in it for the "long-run" with him.

Geordie Shore star Robbie McMahon believes Carl and Katie will last, Robbie said: "She's not with anyone for the long run."

Robbie was also asked whether he would ever date the Mucky Mansion star, to which he replied: "I shoot higher than that, sorry."
