Now the model-turned-interior designer has hundreds of tattoos, but says that many people make assumptions due to her heavily inked frame.

Discussing a social experiment for TV where she covered all her tattoos up, Becky said that people were ‘more inclined to help her’ when she appeared with ink.

‘People were just more inclined to help me, it was to see how different people treated me when I asked for questions or for help.

‘And people were really really rude to me when I had tattoos, I think people think it’s a bit thuggish, and are scared of me.

‘It’s like they don’t think I can hear, they will talk quite openly and quite loudly and be really rude about my appearance, it’s my body and my choice and if people don’t like it, I don’t care.

Until she was 22 all of the tats where hidden but after a while she decided to be bolder with her body art.

‘Most painful place was my arm pit, I’ve got all my pits, all my crotch, all my intimate area done, that was horrific, but bearable,’ she added.

‘I love to stand out, I love the artwork, I love the time and dedication it takes, so I just went for it and got my body covered,’ she said.

‘The first big one was on my thigh – it’s Ganesh – but it was still covered, so if you saw me on the street you wouldn’t know I was tattooed.

‘And then I started getting really big ones, ones of my legs, one of my arms

‘I got the labyrinth movie on my whole leg, which is my favourite film.

‘I’ve got one to my parents, one to my sister, I’m going got get my daughter’s name as soon as I’m allowed to go back to the studio [after recently giving birth], but some don’t have meaning.

While her friends and family are supportive of the tattoos now, her parents ‘went mad’ when they spotted the first one, when she was only 15.

She initially had kept it covered, but one day when she was ‘bringing her washing down the stairs half naked’ her parents saw the inking, and hated it so much paid to get it covered with tattoos of flowers.

Before: Becky is almost unrecognisable as she is pictured as a teenager before she had tattoos covering her body

Now Becky has her forehead and the side of her face inked, but says she won’t go any further.

‘It was about five years ago I got the first one on my face, I ran out of space and I always wanted more.

‘I always said that I wasn’t going to get tattoos on my hands or throat or face because I wanted them to be covered with clothes, but I got so addicted to it I just thought you know what, I’m going to go for it I’m already so covered,

‘I’m not going to get any more on my face, it will spoil the aesthetics,’ she added.

Becky gave birth to her first daughter, Aurora Forrest Holt, in December last year and will happily support her if she wants tattoos in the future.

‘Once my daughter is old enough I’ll take her to the best artist in the UK and give her some really good quality ink from someone I know and trust,’ she said.

‘When I started getting tattoos you could literally go into a shop and pick one of the wall, but now there’s incredible art from people all across the UK
