Brighton boss De Zerbi sparks Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool transfer bidding war as he admits two stars WILL be sold | The Sun

ROBERTO DE ZERBI expects to lose at least two of his Brighton stars this summer.

Alexis Mac Allister is a £70million Liverpool target while Arsenal and Chelsea want his midfield partner Moises Caicedo — also rated at £70m.

Seagulls boss De Zerbi said: “We will lose some players, maybe Caicedo or maybe Mac Allister.

“We need to bring in some other good players.”

Japanese winger Kaoru Mitoma and Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupinan have also caught the eye.

But De Zerbi said: “They need to stay with us. I don’t know if they’re ready to play with big teams.”

All four stars were involved in Brighton's 3-0 win over Arsenal, which may have all but sealed the destination of this season's title.

Caicedo left Arsenal fans fuming after his "revenge tackle" against Gabriel Martinelli.

His crunching tackle came just moments after Martinelli wiped out Mitoma in mid-air.

The Brazilian was seen in a protective boot after coming off the pitch following Caicedo's challenge.

The home loss to De Zerbi's European chasers means if Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest next weekend the title will be confirmed as Manchester City's.

However, a win for City against Chelsea will wrap up the title regardless.

In Brighton's case, they have moved up to sixth place, one point ahead of Tottenham and Aston Villa with two games in hand.
