But thankfully, you don’t need to queue for hours out in the cold to get your hands on some enticing deals.
In the past, online retailers like Currys PC World, ASOS and Amazon have rolled out discounts online from December 26.
Money Saving Expert, a consumer website founded by Martin Lewis, has predicted some of the offers we can expect to see this year.
MSE forecasts a 50% off sale on Amazon from Boxing Day, which has taken place every year since 2017.
This would be the perfect opportunity to get hold of tech items and gadgets.
Back in 2020, shoppers could bag 40% off Echo Dot and Kindles.
There was also up to £130 on LG, Panasonic and Hisense TVs and cheap Chromebooks and laptops from £249.
Customers also saved 24% on Roomba robot vacuum cleaners – so we’re bound to see plenty of bargains in the coming weeks!
If fashion is more your thing, listen up.
Money Saving Expert has predicted an ASOS 70% off sale.
In previous years, these have taken place on December 28, 29 and 30, so keep your eyes peeled.
H&M also tends to reduce the cost of its garments by up to 70% – but this is typically closer to the new year period.
Fashion and tech are now ticked off, so what about travel?
Travel companies are also likely to reduce the cost of trips after Christmas.
In the past, Travelodge has slashed selected stays by 25%.
You could bag these from Boxing Day in 2020, 2018 and 2017.
Meanwhile, Ryanair often reduces the cost of seats.
In 2019, the cost of 500,000 seats dropped down to just £9.99.
