Amanda Holden delighted her 1.8 million followers with a sensational picture of herself in new swimwear on Saturday taken shortly before she bravely entered the winter sea.
The 50-year-old BGT judge seemed nervous but excited as she held up a bottle of gin and spoke to the camera in the moments leading up to her icy plunge, which she posted on her Instagram story.
The MailOnline reports that she was joined by friends Lisa Faulkner and Sarah Parish for the daring wild swimming challenge.
Appearing in a tight black plunging swimsuit which showed off her great physique, she also wore her hair back, and wore tall boots on her legs.
Amanda posted the video to her account as part of a paid advertisement with Marks and Spencer, and is seen introducing the gin product at the start of the story.
Before she heads off into the water she says: "What I'm going to do is have a little nip of it after I come out of the sea on a cold December day!"
She later uploaded a video where she is wrapped in a towel drying herself off with her hair still wet.
Clearly shivering from the cold, the TV personality says: "Whatever you're doing this Christmas, let it begin with gin"
Earlier this week fans said that Amanda 'stole the show' when she opted for a seriously stylish ensemble for a day at work at the Heart FM offices in London.
Amanda, 50, struck a pose for the camera as she donned a nude and black polka dot blouse with a plunge neckline and long sleeves.
She tucked it into a high-waisted brown leather skirt which went down to her calves, featuring a zip design from her waist down to her legs.
Responding to compliments on her figure, she recently told Sunday Mirror's Notebook Magazine: "I have been called Mandy Button in the past, which is such a flattering thing! It’s brilliant."I do look after myself, I run, I do yoga, I’m a vegetarian. But I do love a drink. I don’t deny myself anything."
