So… how’s lockdown going?
If you’re bored and fed up of being stuck indoors, you’re not the only one, but don’t let this boredom tempt you into leaving the house.
Once you’ve tired of watching TV and run out of flour for your banana bread and sourdough starters, spice things up by trying one of our sex games.
Unfortunately, you need a lover to be in the same household for these – but if you’re isolating solo, we’ve got you covered as well, with our masturbation games.
From the classics to the quirky, here’s how to ease your lockdown boredom by enjoying your partner’s body.
The aim of the game is easy; you hand over control to your partner, but not quite in the way you might imagine.
Choose your favourite sex toy or order a new one that is operated by a remote control and let your partner decide the settings.
Letting someone else control your pleasure requires a level of trust, and if it’s the first time you’re playing this game, have a safe word in place.
Once you’ve climaxed – swap.
Give yourselves half an hour each to write down some of your dirtiest fantasies, ones that you haven’t shared with each other yet (and which are doable in lockdown).
Then put into your very own fantasy bowl (you have one each).
You have two options on how to proceed:
The aim of this particular game isn’t that you have to fulfil each fantasy, but rather getting to know your partner even more.
If there are fantasies that you can’t do now, why not write a fantasy wish list that you can get through post-lockdown?
Spend an entire day ticking off things from your to-do-list together, but do it entirely naked.
Paint the kitchen cupboards, bake banana bread, clean the oven – as mundane tasks as they go, but all while strutting around in your birthday suit.
But throughout this time, don’t touch at all – and let the sexual tension build up as you appreciate each other’s bodies for hours, before finally giving in.
It’s a classic for a reason. Play a game of strip poker or even ‘Go Fish’ if that’s more your style.
To mix it up, let your partner choose with item you should take off.
And make it interesting with a bet – whoever wins goes down on the other, perhaps? To make it even more interesting, invite another couple to join you (virtually).
Toss the dice
Assign a touch or task to each number, with the level of saucy going up the higher your number is.
One? Kiss. Six? Sex.
If you don’t have dices in the house or can’t be bothered assigning a task to each number, use an app like the aptly named Sex Dice or Sex Roulette.
What’s the sensation?
Blindfold your partner and have them lie down on the bed, while you collect items from around the house.
Feathers, an ice lolly, lotion, massage gel, candle wax, chocolate sauce, anything liquid or textured that you can run across their body and let them guess what’s causing the sensation.
Word of warning, leave the genitals out of this game if you’re going for ice, foods, candle wax or other similar items as these can damage and/or burn the sensitive skin, cause pain and infections.
Sex quiz with a twist
Forget general knowledge pub quizzes on Zoom and try our sex quiz instead.
The twist? Replace the money pot with a sexual favour and bring out your competitive sides.
It’s a win-win.
Truth or dare
We won’t even bother explaining this one, because you know how it works.
But sex isn’t just about the physical, so we recommend making it both fun, as well as sexy. Sure, you could dare them to masturbate in front of you, but wouldn’t it also be hilarious to dare them to eat a spoonful of something disgusting from the fridge?
And use the truth option to bond or just to find out things you’ve always wanted to know, like if he ever stole anything as a child or her thoughts on the final season of Game of Thrones?
Sharing equals touching
For each secret you share, you get to touch.
Decide between yourselves how extreme these secrets need to be – but beware, you shouldn’t force specific secrets or ridicule each other.
It’s about building intimacy and trust.
Can you make your partner climax within a minute with nothing but your hands and mouth?
Use the kitchen timer, your phone or an actual stopwatch, if you have one.
If your partner struggles to orgasm, simply tease and tantalise on a set time without a ‘goal’ as such, then swap places.
Over and over, until one of you gives in to the urge to have sex.
Kama Sutra to-do-list
Sex positions galore.
Get a copy of the Kama Sutra – the ancient Indian Sanskrit text on all things sex – and make a day of it (don’t worry, there are plenty of books based on the text that come in English).
Or, for the 2020 version, download a sex positions app such as Sex Positions 3D, which lets you track the positions you’ve tried.
Proceed with caution, some of these require very bendy limbs.
You can invite others to join your sexy games over video too, if that appeals.
But remember to do this with people you trust (as you can’t control what the other person on the screen records or takes photos of, even if it is illegal for them to do so).
