Sir Tom Jones took to social media today to share an update with fans regarding his up-coming Surrounded By Time tour. The 81-year-old singer was pleased to reveal that an extra date has been added, taking him to Northern Ireland.
“Belfast… It gives me great pleasure to announce a show for @CHSqBelfast this August.
“See you there! Tickets on sale Friday @ 10am,” he added, while sharing a link with more details.
On Tuesday, August 10, Tom will perform at Custom House Square in Belfast following a gig at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
He then heads to Norwich and Darlington before returning to Wales for a concert.
It comes after Tom was replaced by Ed Sheeran on Celebrity Gogglebox.
The legendary singer was on the Channel 4 show with his The Voice UK co-star Anne Marie.
From this Friday, the 30-year-old will appear alongside the Bad Habits hitmaker instead.
The duo are friends away from the programme but have not seen each other in real life for a while, she has since said.
“I’ve asked one of my best friends, Ed Sheeran, to join me on Gogglebox,” Anne-Marie told The Sun.
“I haven’t seen him in real life for so, so long and when we used to hang out, we would always watch lots of TV.
“So, it will be like old times. I can’t wait.”
During Tom’s appearance on the show he revealed that he still uses a flip phone and shared his opinion on swearing.

He was also seen panicking when he thought his co-star was going to recreate the famous lift from Dirty Dancing.
“I thought, ‘Oh s**t’ when I saw you standing over there.
“I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to have to catch her,'” he amusingly added, thankful that his partner remained in her seat.
Tom and Anne Marie met when they both starred in the 10th series of the BBC singing contest, which aired at the start of the year.
Earlier in the day, the Not Unusual singer told fans that he was “looking forward” to being back on stage after announcing: “Live music is back.”
He will perform at The National Lottery Revive Live Tour alongside Rag’n’Bone Man, James Arthur and Mahalia to name a few.
The initiative aims to boost live music in the UK and will take place at grassroots music venues.
Tickets go on sale next week.
