Loyal viewers of The Chase have been left "fuming" after ITV decided not to air it on Wednesday because of coverage of President Joe Biden's US inauguration.
The game show, which showcased a new quizzer called Darragh Ennis, will not be airing on Wednesday and fans will have to wait until Thursday for their next fix.
As well as The Chase, Tipping Point will also not be airing as originally planned.
The broadcaster have instead decided to air the US inauguration of the new president Joe Biden.

ITV News said: "ITV News will bring you live coverage as Joe Biden becomes president of the United States. @tombrady presents from Washington DC – watch from 3:30pm."
However, fans were left unhappy with the news and took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
One fan said: "I know it's only once every 4 years but it's still a massive inconvenience for those of us who like an afternoon TV quiz show."
"Im fuming there is no chase on tonight due to bidets inauguration. Nobody cares! @ITV @TheChase," an angry viewer wrote. [sic]

A third added: "Why the f*** are ITV covering the inauguration of Biden? Who gives a f***? More importantly they are dropping 'The Chase' for it!"
While a fourth Twitter user expressed: "Just broke the news to Mummy that The Chase is not on tonight because of the inauguration, livid is not the word."
Star of the show, Anne Hegerty who is also known as 'The Governess' recently opened up about the programme and shared her views about having a new chaser join the ranks.
So far, Darragh, who has been named 'The Menace' has had rave reviews from viewers and it seems that Anne, 62, agrees.

Speaking to OK! Online, she said: "He's getting us some fabulous ratings.
"Everyone loves an Irishman! He's also working hard and very conscientious about his quizzing, as well as being a super nice bloke. I think he'll be a real asset."
The I'm A Celebrity star also divulged details about her relationships with her other co-stars, explaining: "We're all good friends, and we all have each other's backs."
The Chase first aired in 2010 on ITV and the show sees four strangers work as a team to answer general knowledge questions, while up against the clock and a chaser.
