Phillip Schofield has taken a break from his presenting duties on This Morning this week, as his brother Timothy Schofield stands trial at Exeter Crown Court.

The This Morning presenter has been given the week off presenting the daytime show for “pre-planned leave”.

Phillip, 60, could be seen walking towards his front gate, holding a paper bag.

The presenter sported reading glasses and was wearing a khaki shirt paired with jeans.

His sibling has been accused of sexually abusing a teenager.

Timothy denied all of the charges. The trial continues.
