Molly-Mae Hague hits back at fans who said shes been having lip filler while pregnant

Molly-Mae Hague has hit back at fans online after they accused her of having lip filler treatments while pregnant.

The former Love Island star, 23, is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Tommy Fury, and regularly takes to social media to share her pregnancy journey with fans.

However in recent weeks many fans have begun to speculate whether or not Molly, who had previously enjoyed lip fillers in the past, had been undergoing the treatment again while pregnant.

Quick to snub the rumours, Molly took to her YouTube channel to address the claims head on, as she told fans: “What kind of a mother do you think I am?”

Elaborating a little further, Molly told her followers: “I've been having so many questions recently about my lips.

“People asking whether I've been having lip filler again, which has really been making me laugh.

“Guys do you really think while being pregnant I would get lip filler? Like, what kind of a mother do you think I am?”

Molly has always been open about the cosmetic procedures she has undergone in the past, with the star even admitting she regretted having excessive amounts of filler at so young an age in a recent interview with the Sunday Times.

“It was a big thing for me to be honest about that." she told the publication, as she admitted she had undergone a “full package” of the treatment for £500, targeting her cheeks, jaw and lips.

While sharing an excerpt for her upcoming book, Becoming Molly Mae, which hits the shelves next month, Molly revealed that after having had the filler treatment, she was even mocked online by trolls.

It was then that she realised she didn’t feel any “prettier” or “better” due to the treatment, and even argued if anything “Filler had made her feel worse.”

Just two years after undergoing the procedure, Molly finally had the fillers dissolved in December last year, something she said herself, was a huge relief as she no longer recognised herself.

Alongside having the fillers in her lip and jaw removed, the Islander also revealed she had removed her composite veneers too.

Speaking on The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett podcast, she told the show host: “I wouldn't say I got addicted to it, but by the age of 21, I didn't look like the same person.

“I literally looked like a different person. When I look back at pictures now, I'm terrified of myself. I'm like, 'Who was that girl?' I don't know what happened.”

Recalling the moment she realised she had a problem, Molly continued: “There was this one pivotal moment where I'd gone and got loads of filler and I posted a YouTube video and I hadn't let the filler settle and it was really swollen and a screenshot from that video, it trended on Twitter for weeks.

“It was horrendous. It was utterly horrendous. My face was literally like, it was just awful. That was the moment for me as well where I was like, I think things need to change.”

Since undergoing the reversals, Molly has admitted she felt more like herself, and even stated that she “ felt the prettiest I’d ever felt, once it had all gone.”
