Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released a stunning new and official photo together as it was announced the pair will be hosting a special TIME100 Talk.

The 39 year old Duchess of Sussex and her 36 year old husband, who she shares one year old son Archie with, were photographed sitting in the comfort of their own California home as they took part in the shoot.

In the black-and-white picture, former Suits actress Meghan can be seen wearing a flattering black co-ord suit with a white top underneath as she sits on a wooden chair.

The brunette beauty, who recently shared a peak inside her luxurious Los Angeles mansion, rests one arm on her husband and has a massive smile planted across her face as she looks down at her hands.

The stunning star styled her tresses into loose beach waves for the occasion and went all out with the accessories, donning several bracelets and rings.

Prince Harry looks equally happy and at ease as he partially sits on the edge of the chair's arm, leaning over the grasp the handle on the other side.

Appearing quite dapper for the photoshoot, the royal opted to wear a classic dark suit with a crisp white shirt underneath, leaving the top button loose.

Meghan and Harry, who recently went on a double date with "pregnant" Katherine McPhee and David Foster, will be hosting a TIME100 Talk on the State of Our Shared Digital Experience on Tuesday, 20 October.

The special episode, which is being presented in partnership with P&G and themed around the topic of "Engineering a Better World", will see the couple talk about building online communities that are more compassionate, safe, and trustworthy.

It comes as it was recently reported that the royal couple are going to be working with Simon Cowell on their mega deal with Netflix.

An insider told OK! Online: "Meghan is the one who has instigated it. It isn’t Simon going to them. Simon adores Prince Harry and always has done and Prince Harry used to come to the X Factor back in the day. But it was Meghan who reached out.

“She’s always been a huge fan of Simon Cowell and his shows. Meghan actually did a video message to a contestant called Archie on America’s Got Talent and showed her support."

They continued: “It’s Meghan who is pushing it because she’s always been fond of Simon. She’s a bit of a fan to say the least. She’s the one pushing for it after wanting to leave the royal family and live in LA.

"She wants to be a success and wants to be associated with some of the most successful, powerful people. And Simon is one of those people.

“Simon is still recovering in Malibu at the minute and he’s concentrating on TV ideas, so he’s very busy. But he will be there for them and offer help if they want it."
