Major body language changes in Kate and William explained by expert

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been putting on a more united front than ever of late, with small tactile displays of affection that their fans can't get enough of.

A body language expert has explored the "major" body language changes between the couple, which show that they're still completely besotted with each other.

Jesús Enrique Rosas, also known as The Body Language Guy, took to his YouTube channel The Royal Rogue as he explored the exchanges between Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 40, during a visit to The Rectory in Birmingham.

The royal couple were on fine form as they laughed and joked with each other and the crowds, with William at one point putting an uncharacteristically tactile display, as he placed an arm around Kate with his hand on her waist.

Body language expert Jesús said: “What stands out about this new public display of affection is that even though William’s fingers are not fully extended (around Kate’s waist), they form a cup of protection – this more than reassurance, is a gesture of possession and protection.

“This is a masculine and loving gesture,” he continued, whilst saying "more relaxed and confident" William isn't “controlling Kate with a possessive gesture”.

There was plenty of eye contact and smiling going on between the Prince and Princess of Wales, with Kate often tilting her head back as she laughed.

The body language expert noted “the way Kate exposes her neck while turning to William and smiling at him”.

He explained that this is a "very feminine gesture" that was held "for more than a couple of minutes" and signals how "comfortable and protected" Kate feels around her husband of 11 years.

Jesús pointed out another significant detail of Kate and William's attraction to one another – that "Kate's eyes are directed towards William's mouth".

He said: "It's common for Kate to look into William’s eyes, but it’s also fairly common to catch her looking at his mouth”.

Showing his funny side as they visited a restaurant, William answered the phone and took a customer's booking – causing Kate to throw back her head in laughter and flash "bright smiles".

The body language expert deduced that this "is the real deal," as he continued: "The way they are laughing… the energy is just there for everyone to see."

Kate looked typically stunning on the day, wearing a burgundy dress with labels and a pleated design on the skirt, whilst she wore her long brunette locks down.

William looked dapper in a pale blue shirt and dark jacket, in the pocket of which could be seen a tiny hint of a pocket square which matched Kate's dress.
