Former Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg, 30, cheekily told his girlfriend Dianne Buswell, 32, to “get out” after she suffered an epic fail during a game they had invented together. Joe was quick to tease Strictly pro Dianne over the blunder, which occurred during her isolation period after testing positive for Covid just before Christmas.
The couple were relaxing together this morning while tuning into a throwback music show on MTV, entitled MTV Class of 2008.
They then came up with a way to pass the time by challenging each other to sing along to the hits from 2008 without looking at the screen to get any clues.
However, Joe was less than impressed when Dianne failed to identify hit Britney Spears song, Born to Make You Happy.
Joe began by sharing the channel he and Dianne were watching in their room, in view of his 5.7 million Instagram followers.
The YouTube star admitted: “Now I understand why (as a kid) the adults would always have ‘old music’ playing on the TV or on the radio..”
He then added in a video: “Right, we’re going to play a game. Whatever the next song is, you’ve got to stand in front of the screen, you can’t look at what it is.
“You’ve just got to sing along karaoke-style and take it in turns, keen?” Joe asked Dianne.
“Umm, yeah!” Dianne replied.
“Of course she is, let’s go,” Joe enthused.
Unfortunately for Joe, he later got defeated by Dianne in the final round of their competition, as he couldn’t sing along to a classic track by Celine Dion.
He fumed: “Defeated in the last round! Final score Dianne 4-3 Joe.”
Joe went on to reveal that Dianne got too cocky, as she wanted to perform a song to celebrate her victory.
Sadly for the dancer, she was given a Britney song that she didn’t know very well.

As Born to Make You Happy played on the TV, Dianne admitted: “This is the one I don’t know of Britney.”
“You’ll know this song,” Joe responded.
However, Dianne disagreed: “I don’t know this one of Britney, this is the only Britney one I don’t know!”
Joe captioned the funny clip: “She’s had a nightmare!”
“I think you might know it,” Joe could be heard encouraging his girlfriend.
“I don’t know it,” the Australian dancer insisted.
“Really? I was born to make you happy!” Joe sang.
“This is the one I don’t know,” Dianne added, as Joe’s singing hadn’t given her any clue.
Joe then hit back at his girlfriend: “You don’t know it? Get out!
“Oh you can’t!” he quipped, mocking Dianne’s current period of isolation.
“And Britney was my first album as well, but this must not have been on her first album,” Dianne explained in an attempt to defend herself.
“False start for @diannebuswell,” Joe teased in the caption.
