Jennifer Aniston enjoys dinner with ex-husband Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston, 54, has been pictured catching up with her ex-husband Justin Theroux, 51, at dinner in New York City.

The former couple has remained friends since their marriage ended in 2017 and enjoyed a late-night meal with pals Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka.

Jennifer arrived at the restaurant solo, meeting up with Justin and Jason and his wife Amanda at the Il Cantinori restaurant.

Justin and Jennifer could be seen sharing a hug before they sat down across from each other.

The Hollywood actress cut a casual figure in a black cardigan and matching trousers, adding boots and a small handbag in the same colour.

Justin, likewise, looked dapper in a dark green jacket, jeans and boots.

At the end of the meal, Friends star Jennifer left with a single rose in her hand.

The former couple started dating in May 2011 after they worked together on the 2012 movie Wanderlust.

The duo announced their engagement on August 10, 2012.

They were married in August 2015 but announced their divorce in February 2018, revealing they separated at the end of 2017.

In December 2021, Justin cuddled up to Jennifer after they reunited for a table read of the Eighties sitcom Facts of Life.

After the show, the duo spent time together and got cosy as they posed for a picture together.

Jennifer was previously married to fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt, with the former couple tieing the knot in 2000.

In 2005 Jennifer and Brad announced they were separating, with rumours of the Troy star’s new relationship circulating.

Brad had met Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith and there were rumours the pair had begun an intimate relationship.

In 2019, Jennifer opened up about her marriages, admitting to Elle: “My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion.

“And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness doesn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.

“Sure they were bumps and not every moment felt fantastic but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear.”
