Former TOWIE star Kate Ferdinand is well into her third trimester and is expecting her first child with her ex-footballer husband Rio Ferdinand.
Giving followers a glimpse into her pregnancy, Kate answered some of her fans burning questions including how she’s coping, what she’s worried about and whether or not she regrets joining TOWIE.
Admitting that she’s been “struggling a little” during the last 2-3 weeks of her third trimester, Kate opened up about having “up and down days.”
Putting her emotions down to “a huge lack of sleep,” the 29-year-old admitted she’s “feeling very tired” and “finding the back pain very draining.”
With all that being said, the mum-to-be confirmed she’s “good” and “excited for baby to arrive.
When asked what beverage she’d be reaching for once she was allowed alcohol again, Kate revealed that “very LARGE vodka lemonade and lime” would be her tipple – adding that her “mouth was watering” at the thought of it.
Kate rose to fame after starring in TOWIE between 2015 and 2017, a career move which she’s adamant she doesn’t regret.
When asked the question by a fan, she answered: “Absolutely not! I had some amazing experiences and it helped shape me into the woman I am today,” above a picture of her first ever scene.
“I look back sometimes and I have grown so much as a person since then I don’t recognise the person I was,” she added. “Crazy Kate has calmed down a lot since then (well a little).”
Kate also went into detail about her feelings on becoming a first-time mum with Rio after forming a family bond with his children.
Rio is already father to three children, Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, from his first marriage to wife Rebecca Ellison, who tragically passed away in 2015 from breast cancer aged 34.
One follower asked the question: “How do you feel about being a first time mum but a fourth time mum all in one go?”
In response, Kate said she was “excited but nervous.”
“I’m a huge worrier but once i’m in a situation i do just get on with it so I’m sure it will be fine – just the thought of four kids is crazy.”
She revealed that she “feel[s] like a ‘mum’ already” but because she’s “never experienced having a baby or a newborn the thought of having to juggle that with three big kids is overwhelming at times.”
However, it seems the little ones are helping her through the hard parts as she shared some adorable pictures of the family throughout the Q & A.
“The kids are so excited and that makes it extra special. We are all on this little journey together,” she explained, saying she’ll have “three helpers” who she’ll be trying to get on nappy changing duty.
