Gemma Collins confessed that she didn’t lose her virginity until she was “older” at 18-years-old.

On her BBC Radio Sounds podcast, Gemma made the revelation after an anonymous caller revealed that they were a 21-year-old virgin and they were concerned about never having had a serious relationship.

The caller said she was “really insecure about my weight being a plus-size girl” and that she suffered from Polycystic Ovary syndrome.

The caller elaborated: “Recently it's really affected my mood. I can't help but think I'm never going to be good enough and always be the single friend.”

TOWIE icon Gemma was quick to reassure the caller, sharing the story of how she lost her virginity.

She told her: “So, hun, listen, it is absolutely fine. I didn't lose my virginity till I was 18 years old. I was older. Again if you lose it before there's nothing wrong with that.”

Gemma went on to empathise, telling the caller not to rush into anything.

She said: "I basically really feel for you, hun because you're thinking there's something wrong with you but it's absolutely fine. Wait until you're ready, wait until it just happens. Someone is going to love you for you."

The bubbly blonde offered the caller some more advice about her weight and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

She said: “If you are a bit down about your weight, I would recommend if you have PCOS, going to see an endocrinologist.”

Gemma has recently been showing off her incredible 3.5 stone weight loss.

The 40-year-old split from on-off boyfriend TOWIE’s James Argent after showing the world a series of nasty text messages from him.

She has bounced back recently, being spotted with ex-fiancé Rami Hawash, but she claims it’s “nothing serious”.

Gemma told The Sun Online: “Me and Rami is nothing serious. He is a lovely guy and I am just having some fun. We’re not properly dating, we’re not getting married.”

The TOWIE babe continued: “I’ve had a tough time in the past and Rami has been a great support. We have a great time together and that’s all there is to it.”
