Coleen and husband Wayne Rooney are celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary on 12 June after tying the knot in a lavish Italian wedding covered exclusively by OK! magazine at the time.
The couple, who have declared their love for each other to mark their anniversary, said their vows in Portofino, Italy, on 12 June 2008 in a fairytale ceremony at the 14th century abbey in Santa Margherita Ligure.
Sixty of Wayne and Coleen’s closest friends and family were flown out for the ceremony, which took place by candlelight in the ancient chapel, conducted by the couple’s childhood priest.
Coleen stunned at the ceremony, wearing a custom gown designed by Marchesa that was estimated to cost £200,000 paired with crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin heels that were specially made to match her wedding dress.
