The ‘Love and Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ star, who finalized their divorce in March 2022, gets things off her chest after knowing that her ex-husband bought luxurious gifts for someone’s children instead of theirs.
AceShowbiz –Erica Mena wasn’t happy to learn that Safaree Samuels gave luxurious birthday gifts to Amara La Negra‘s children. After the rapper hand out two boxes of Rolex for Amara’s twins, Erica called him out in an Instagram comment.
“Awe so cute. It’s just very interesting how my kids have NEVER received gifts like this by this waste man,” the 35-year-old wrote underneath The Shade Room’s post. “My daughter just turned 3. All she got was a birthday cake and a few balloons in his living room.”
“And please don’t get me started on how he didn’t do anything for my sons 1st birthday until two weeks after the fact,” she added. “And again, that was just ballons in his living room. But Happy every enjoyed this circus them birthday party with a deadbeat clown as the special guest.”
In another comment, the “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” star penned, “Before I go someone @ him – He blocked me since I won’t take his crying begging a** back (hints why his now desperately shooting in miami now).” She further noted, “Let him know he has medical bills that’s only 8k from last year he owes along with……….never mind just tell him he got it. Pay it.”
Erica and Safaree tied the knot in New Jersey in October 2019. At that time, they were already expecting their first child together, daughter Safire Majesty Samuels, whom they welcomed in February 2020. They then welcomed a son named Legend on June 28 in 2021.
Erica then filed for divorce from Safaree in May 2021 when she was pregnant with their second child. In the paperwork, she insisted that she had “no hope of reconciliation” with the “Liar” spitter because their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
Erica and Safaree finalized their divorce in March 2022. At that time, Erica celebrated her freedom by partying in a nightclub. “I’m officially divorced,” she told the crowd. “We celebrated new life, we celebrated freedom and we celebrated that we’re bad b***h and we run this mother f**ka world.”
