Surprise, Ed Sheeran has wandered back into the spotlight to drop a new song right in time for the holidays, and to say it’ll put you in your feelings is an understatement. I mean, just go ahead and listen:

Ed announced the song on Instagram, explaining that he wrote it last year, and it’s “just a song I love, and hope you love too.” He indicated that he’ll be stepping back out of the spotlight ASAP, saying it’s “back to dad land for me now.”
