Eamonn Holmes, 60, and his wife Ruth Langsford, 60, have presented This Morning together since 2006. The TV veteran recently appeared on BBC Two show I’ll Get This where he addressed both he and his partner’s work personalities.
Eamonn was joined on the show with Stacey Solomon, Joe Sugg, Alice Levine and Phil Wang.
The programme has five celebrities meet at a restaurant where they play games between courses.
The loser of the game is then forced to pay for the entire meal.
As the group sat and chatted amongst each other, Alice turned to Eamonn and asked whether he deliberately attempts to throw Ruth “off-guard” during This Morning.

Alice added: “Not throw her under the bus.”
Eamonn praised his wife Ruth for being a “superb broadcaster” and said she likes to follow the rules but he prefers the opposite.
“No. The thing about Ruth and I, is that she does everything by the rules,” he explained.
“She is a superb broadcaster, very, very good. But she likes to follow instructions.”
He added: “Whereas, I detest following instructions.”
The Radio 1 presenter then asked the ITV favourite if the pair shared a “nice tension” on the daytime show.
Eamonn said: “Yes, actually it is a tension. She’ll literally kick me under the table for doing things.”
