Eamonn Holmes teases Homes Under The Hammer Lucy Alexander in throwback video: ‘How cute’

This Morning star Eamonn Holmes, 60, has teased his friend and Homes Under The Hammer star Lucy Alexander, 50 after she shared a video of herself starring in a Burger King advert from 1992. The ITV favourite shared the video of the TV star and teased her about “how cute” she looked “behind the counter”.

It all comes after Lucy found a Burger King advert she had featured in from 1992 circulating online.

The presenter decided to relive the moment where she was “behind the counter” serving burgers and fries, by sharing the video with her 35,000 Twitter followers earlier today.

Lucy reflected: “Omg my old Burger King Advert just got sent to me.” (sic)

She went on to add how the advert also featured Game On star Ben Chaplin: “With the Lovely Ben Chaplin too!!

“From The show ‘Game On’,” she wrote in a separate tweet.

Once the BBC favourite shared her old advert with her close friends and followers, This Morning’s Eamonn decided to express his thoughts on his pal’s video.

While sharing Lucy’s post, the ITV host cheekily wrote: “How Cute is my friend Lucy Alexander in this Ad?

“1992 Before she was famous”.

The broadcaster was also spotted responding to the clip when it was first rediscovered by a fan, as he wrote: “What I’d give for one of those right now !” while referring to one of their staple burgers.

Not long after Eamonn proceeded to talk about “how cute” Lucy looked, fans also waded in to comment.

One told the journalist: “Omg… I didn’t realise you were in that #nostalgia.”

Another responded to Eamonn by writing: “Too cute!!,” while one added: “And l still prefer burger king to Macdonald’s to this day.

“I reckon it was that advert that got me going to burger king.”

Meanwhile, many of Lucy’s followers proceeded to tell her how they remembered the time they saw the iconic advert on their TV screens.

One Twitter user revealed: “I remember this!,” while another commented: “Homes Under The Hammer’s Lucy Alexander behind the counter!”

Elsewhere, one intrigued follower asked Lucy: “I’m genuinely curious, did you get free BK after being in this advert as well as your fee?,” to which she responded with: “Nope … what an idiot .. tell my agent !!”

This all comes after Lucy’s friend and former Homes Under The Hammer co-star Martin Roberts, 56, opened up about how he has supported the presenter while her mum was battling cancer.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Martin explained: “I know she’s going through some tough times at the moment because her mum’s really poorly and I’m trying to support her through that really.

“She’s definitely suffering a bit with her mum going through that.”

Lucy previously confirmed that her mum Kay Alexander sadly passed away in February.
