Dolly Parton Shares Rendition Of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ From Upcoming Christmas Album

Dolly Parton has shared her rendition of “Mary, Did You Know?” from her upcoming Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas.

“‘Mary, Did You Know?’ is one of the greatest, sweetest, [most] well-written songs I’ve ever had a chance to sing on,” Parton said. “When I was recording it, I got very emotional. It is to me what Christmas is about and I’m proud to be able to sing it for my upcoming album.”

A Holly Dolly Christmas, which features solo songs and duets with Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, and her brother Randy Parton, is due out in full on October 2 via Butterfly Records.

Parton’s last holiday album, Home for Christmas, was released in 1990.
