Dolly Parton, in partnership with her Imagination Library, will launch on April 2 a new video series entitled “Goodnight With Dolly,” in which the country legend will read bedtime stories to viewers.
From the 10-book series, Parton will read aloud children’s books such as “The Little Engine That Could” on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. EST, on YouTube.
“Goodnight with Dolly launches on April 2, with the hope that this gift will further inspire a love of books and shared story time during this important period,” the Imagination Library said in a statement.
In an Instagram video post last week, Parton said, “I want you to join me April the 2nd when I start Goodnight With Dolly. I’m going to be reading some stories from the Imagination Library.”
