Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich's engagement seems to be the occasion that keeps on giving. Not only did she announce the news back on July 23, in the days following, she celebrated their relationship, posted a touching thank-you note to her doctors for helping her through her overdose two years ago, and now, she and Ehrich are feeling especially generous. Yesterday, the two shared snapshots from the moment that they got engaged. The beach, the sunset — it's the stuff of Pinterest board dreams.
The gallery includes an image of Ehrich down on one knee and the aftermath, which shows Lovato's shoes in her hand as they hug. When she announced her engagement last week, she let fans know that the moment was captured, writing, "THANK YOU @angelokritikos FOR HIDING BEHIND ROCKS AND CAPTURING THE ENTIRE THING!!! I love you boo" on the previous post.
"Best night of my life… still soaking it all up.. I love you baby @maxehrich," she wrote on the new photos.
Ehrich also shared the photos — and he added a little more atmosphere, letting followers know that Dave Matthews Band's "Crash Into Me" played as he popped the question. That's a whole mood if there ever was one.
"'Crash Into Me' by @davematthewsband was playin," he captioned the photos. "Still floating love you more each and every second @ddlovato."
The new snaps confirm everything fans already know: the two are very, very in love.
"I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too," Lovato wrote of Ehrich in a previous post. "I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all."
