British actor Daniel Kaluuya, 32, has been trending over the past 24-hours after his “hilarious” opening monologue during his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live made light of a serious topic surrounding Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. Still a huge talking point, the Get Out star is now trending for something else entirely – his SAG Awards 2021 outfit.

As the stars gear up to celebrate the 27th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at their homes due to a switch-up virtual ceremony, Daniel showcased his red-carpet outfit and it was quite discussion starter.
Repping a Louis Vuitton three piece co-ordinate, the actor stunned fans as they believed it looked more like silk pyjamas.
Taking to Twitter after his debut photos dropped, one said: “You can’t tell me this isn’t a pj and robe set.”
Another agreed but applauded the get-up: “Daniel Kaluuya in fashion pyjamas is all I will be talking about for the rest of the week #SAGAwards.”
A third agreed: “Everyone looks amazing but what a flex for Daniel Kaluuya to basically show up in fancy pajamas.”
A fourth quipped: “Daniel Kaluuya doing a full-on photoshoot in purple PJ’s lol iconic.”(sic)
Daniel is nominated for Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for his part in Judas and the Black Messiah.
He is up against Sacha Baron Cohen, the late Chadwick Boseman, Jared Leto and Leslie Odom, Jr.
While he posed professionally for his pre-ceremony shoot, fans were still reeling from his SNL performance where he referenced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s race allegations against the Royal Family.
During the couple’s tell-all interview, Meghan alleged a member of the family – not the Queen or the Duke of Edinburgh – had made a racist comment about their son Archie.

The Oscar nominee referenced the claim during his opening monologue, telling viewers: “First of all, I know you’re hearing my accent and thinking, ‘Oh no, he’s not black, he’s British’.
“Let me reassure you that I am black. I’m black and I’m British.”
Daniel then quipped: “Basically I am what the Royal Family was worried the baby would look like.”
Meghan told Oprah an unnamed royal raised concerns with Harry about how dark Archie’s skin tone might be before he was born.
The Kick-Ass 2 star went on to discuss racism in the UK and the US.
“People ask me what’s worse, British racism or American racism,” he quipped.
“Let me put it this way, British racism is so bad white people left. They wanted to be free, free to create their own kind of racisms.
“That’s why they invented Australia, South Africa and Boston.”
