Coleen Nolan, 56, is apparently back on the market after The Sun came across her profile on dating site Tinder. The Loose Women star went public with her toyboy boyfriend, who was eight years her junior, in January earlier this year but has since confirmed that on the ITV show in April that it didn’t work out and she is single and already mingling with other people. Her bio on the popular dating app reads: “Don’t judge a book by the cover.

It hasn’t worked out

“If we match, say, ‘Hi’, honestly I don’t bite,” alongside a winking face.

Despite their split, Coleen didn’t dwell on the fact she and the “mystery man” had parted ways over lockdown, saying: “I found out everything and he found out everything about me during the six months that we were talking.”

She went on to explain that once lockdown restrictions were eased, the pair realised that it just wasn’t meant to be but she told her co-stars at the time she was already speaking to “someone very lovely”.

She said last month: “Lockdown was boring and it was lovely to have someone to chat with and flirt with.

“But now lockdown has ended, you know, it hasn’t worked out.”

She added: “It hasn’t put me off. I am back out there and I’m already speaking to somebody very lovely.

“I’ll let you know when things progress,” Coleen beamed to her colleagues.

However it seems she’s been having all sorts of luck matching people on Tinder, as a source revealed to The Sun she’s been matching more younger people.

The insider explained: “Coleen was keen to get back on the horse after she broke up with her fella.

“It hasn’t put her off younger lads. Quite the opposite.

“She’s been matching some even younger than her ex.” approached Coleen’s rep for comment.

The Nolans star admitted previously that she doesn’t see a problem with an age gap in a relationship, writing in her weekly newsletter for The Mirror: “I’ve had this discussion with the man I’m seeing,” referring to her lockdown beau.

“He’s 47 and I’m 55 and, although there are only eight years between us, I have moments of worrying I’m a bit too old for him.

“On the other hand, we both have a similar outlook and are in the same place in our lives. He’s divorced with children, as am I, so we have a lot in common, too.”

At the end of last year, Coleen told viewers that her Loose Women co-stars had signed her up on several dating apps, but feared being “cat-fished”.

“Here’s my issue,” she told the panel, “How do I know it’s the real them?”

Ruth Langsford replied: “This is the issue isn’t it, I think that’s why so many people are put off.”

After Janet Street-Porter described it as the “modern way to date”, she questioned why women were “embarrassed” to be on a dating app.

Coleen then revealed she “melted into a pool of embarrassment” when a man she had been talking to on the app gave her his number and asked her to give him a ring.

“That’s a bit too much,” she laughed, adding that she threw her phone.

“When it comes to going on a date and I fancy someone, I turn into a 12-year-old schoolgirl and forget my own name.

“I’m rubbish, I am the biggest cowardly flirt you’ll ever meet.”

She joked: “How do I know he isn’t a serial killer?!”

The singer also admitted she thinks it all depends on whether couples have the same “attitude to life” as to whether they work out or not.
