Billy Ocean is back on our screens as the musical guest on Sunday Brunch alongside Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer this morning. Billy is well known as a family man having taken a two-decade break from his career to support his family But what is known of the singer’s marriage with wife Judy Bayne?
Is Billy Ocean still married?
Billy and wife Judy Bayne are still married, having been together for more than 40 years.
The Love Really Hurts Without You singer previously appeared on Loose Women in 2016 where he spoke of his lasting marriage with Judy.
Talking of how many years they have been married, he said: “You know I have lost count.

“My wife was 13, and I was 15, and then we became friends together eventually we got married, so I don’t really remember [how long they have been together] because I don’t think it is important. The important thing is that we are still together.”
Billy went on to talk of his worries about his marriage breaking down.
The singer added: “I think marriage is something that you have to work on every day.
“I would be terrified if my marriage breaks. Suppose she finds someone else? But seriously I think you have to stick at it.”
Billy and Judy have three children son Anthony and daughters, Rachel and Cherie.
In 2010, Billy spoke of why he chose to take a break from his career to help raise his family.
He told the publication: “I took a career break to raise my own kids, and I’d do it again.
“You have kids once, and if you miss that period, it never comes back again.

“My wife, Judy, and I have three children, and there was so much to deal with, my wife couldn’t do it all by herself.
“I’d been more successful than I ever imagined, and I remember sitting in a hotel in America and thinking: what am I doing here?
“So I took a break, maybe for longer than I thought. And now my daughter Cherie is one of my backing singers.”
He later spoke his family’s involvement within his career to The Metro last year.
Billy revealed how his children and wife had become a part of how he performs.
While speaking of his daughter Cherie’s as backing singer, he said: “I love having her with me.
“Rachel, my youngest, plays piano and cello, my son Anthony plays drums and keyboard, but Cherie’s the only one who supports me and loves singing.
“I really am proud to have her with me. My wife travels with me now and again.”
