Multi-Grammy Award-winning alt-pop star Billie Eilish is the latest among a host of celebrities who has been forced to postpone their tour due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The 18-year-old singer, who released her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in March of 2019, played three dates from the third leg of the world tour promoting the album before having to shut it down due to the Coronavirus.
“Unfortunately for everyone’s safety we have to postpone the rest of the shows this year,” she shared via Instagram Stories. “My team and i are working to reschedule everything and i promise i’ll let you know as soon as we can. Stay safe.”
Having kicked off on March 9, 2020, the tour took the star to the stages of Miami, Orlando & Raleigh, North Carolina, and was scheduled to continue through early September 2020.
“As soon as dates are finalized, Billie will share the updated schedule and all tickets will be honored accordingly,” she tweeted.
“Thank you for understanding. Stay safe, and stay home.”
