Ashleigh Murray, Chloe x Halle & More Celebs Honor Breonna Taylor On Her Birthday

Celebrities are speaking out and honoring Breonna Taylor on what would have been her 27th birthday.

Ashleigh Murray, Chloe x Halle, Francia Raisa, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, Kira Kosarin, and Ben Platt are among many celebs who have spoken out and shared petitions and more on Friday (June 5).

Breonna Taylor was an EMT who was sleeping in her bed when police silently executed a warrant at the wrong house, firing 22 shots, eight of which hit Breonna, causing her to lose her life.

“Happy Birthday Queen” has been a trending topic on Twitter as people speak out on her birthday.

“Today is her birthday. She deserves justice. Her mother deserves justice. The men who murdered her deserve to be charged. We are demanding justice!! @RandPaul @GovAndyBeshear @djaycameron @RepJohnYarmuth @senatemajldr #JusticeforBreonnaTaylor,” Ashleigh wrote on Twitter.

“happy birthday beautiful queen 👑 today we celebrate you!! 💕💕💕,” Chloe x Halle wrote on Instagram.

You can sign the petition to help bring justice to the officers right here, and you can see below on more ways to help.

Happy birthday to this beautiful soul. You should be turning 27 today. In honor of your memory and our commitment to seeking justice in your name, the following is a message and initiative stated by Tatiana J. Burke @taranajaneen : “In honor of Breonna Taylor's birthday this coming Friday 5 June 2020, here are some concrete action items people can do to commemorate her life and fight to get her justice. Complete as many items on the list as you can and share the link to this campaign so that other people can complete it too.” The link will be in my story and on my Twitter. Black women are the center and backbone of this movement. Breonna was an award winning EMT. Beyond that, Breonna was a human being who deserved a full and fruitful life. We honor her today by doing our part in these actions. Donate to her family, sign the petitions asking for her murderer’s accountability, spread the message! Let us amplify this angel’s voice, Breonna we will continue to fight for your justice. Happy birthday mama🙏🏼✨ Story for link to actions!

Today would’ve been #breonnataylor birthday. She should be here. Instead she was murdered by police in what they’re calling a “clerical error”. They barged into her home without knocking and shot her in her sleep. She worked for us during the covid pandemic, she was an innocent civilian. SAY HER NAME. DEMAND JUSTICE ON HER BIRTHDAY. NO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE. @govandybeshear @senatemajldr @drrandpaul @danieljaycameron MAKE THIS RIGHT. Post by @ju.niyah 🌸
