Royal Family news latest – Kate Middleton STUNS at James Bond premiere as William & Charles appear with Daniel Craig

THE Queen's alleged brutal slap down of Meghan Markle over the Duchess' pre-wedding tiara tantrum has been retold.

The Duchess of Sussex was widely reported to have had a meltdown in the days before her wedding to Prince Harry after being told a tiara she wanted to wear at the ceremony wouldn't be available for her.

Her behaviour was deemed so unacceptable that news of it soon found its way back to the Queen, according to Andrew Morton, who retells the story in an updated edition of his book Meghan: A Hollywood Princess.

The furious monarch is reported to have snapped to Prince Harry in her typically to-the-point style "She gets what tiara she’s given by me" – firmly putting the demanding Duchess back in her place.

Harry & Meghan plan more ‘royal-style’ tours – sparking concern

The couple headlined a star-studded Covid vaccine gala in Central Park last night.

Their three-day tour, which saw them meet politicians and schoolkids, was said to have all the “hallmarks of a royal visit”.

But insiders revealed the Palace fear the Sussexes have set up a “rival court” to William and Kate.

A source said: “There are going to be some very nervous glances from the Palace because Harry and Meghan are effectively following the royal model.

“The Palace will be anxious the causes they support and people they hang around with does nothing to embarrass the Queen.

“Kate and Wills show how the job of working royals is done. They won’t be impressed with Harry and Meghan acting as quasi-royals and courting publicity after claiming they quit for privacy.”

    Word ban for Kate's nanny

WHEN it comes to childcare, unsurprisingly, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have the cream of the crop.

Maria Borrallo trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath, and as part of her training she was instructed not to say one word in particular.

Norland expert Louise Heren, and author of Nanny in a Book, discovered that there is one word Maria must not say on the job.

Speaking to the Mirror, Louise explained that that Norland nannies are banned from saying ‘kids’ and must instead use the children’s names at all times.

Louise says: “The word kid is banned. It's a mark of respect for the children as individuals.”

    No backing down

In June, Simon Dorante-Day made the outrageous claim his teeth were ground flat by a dentist to make him look less royal.

He claims he was "pinned" down by a dentist to shave down his sharp canines and erase any similarities to the Royal Family.

Sharing a picture of the Queen, Durante-Day wrote: "This photo exemplifies why my canine teeth were ground flat."

Durante-Day was born in Gosport, Hamps, in April 1966.

He has filed papers to the High Court in a bid to force the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall to take a DNA test.

The engineer claims his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest worked as a cook and gardener for the Queen and Prince Philip and told him "many times" he was Charles and Camilla's child.

He also believes the names of his birth parents are "fictitious" and the official documents from his adoption are written in his mum’s handwriting.

Not surprisingly, Charles and Camilla have not responded to his claims.

    Prince Charles' 'secret son' returns

AN Australian man who has wildly claimed to be Prince Charles' secret son has shared an e-mail he says proves he sent a paternity letter to the royal.

Simon Dorante-Day published an email that alleges that Detective Inspector Dave Smith from the Royalty and Specialist Protection unit handed over a letter he had written to the Prince's aides.

The letter in question allegedly outlined his belief that Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are his parents.

In the 2015 email posted to Facebook, Smith allegedly wrote: “Just to confirm that I received the letter you sent by airmail addressed to me.

“I opened the outer packaging containing my details. The inner letter addressed to the Prince I took by hand, unopened, to the Princes’ correspondence team. I hope this is suitable.”

Woman agrees to testify against Andrew

Shukri Walker is prepared to testify against the Duke of York and reveal details of an alleged encounter she had with him at Tramp nightclub in London in 2001.

Ms Walker has already given a written statement to the FBI saying she vividly remembers seeing Andrew with the then 17-year-old, the Mirror reports.

And now she will “do her duty” if called up as a witness, her lawyer said.

Virginia, now 38, claims she was forced to have sex with the duke in London, at Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse and on his Caribbean island.

One of the instances where Virginia claims she was forced to have sex with the Prince was after the trip to Tramp in Mayfair.

William and Kate attended the star-studded world premiere for the last Bond film, Spectre, in 2015, and were joined by Prince Harry.

Charles and Camilla attended the world premiere of the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, in 2012.

Kate & William appear with Daniel Craig

KATE Middleton and Prince William have appeared alongside Daniel Craig on the red carpet for the premiere of the new Bond film.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended this evening's glittering world premiere of No Time To Die at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Kate stepped out in a dazzling gold dress with caped arms and an up-do hairstyle – while William rocked a black suit and bow tie.

In a rare joint engagement, Charles and Camilla also step out onto the red carpet to meet 007 star Daniel Craig and other Bond cast members.

The royal foursome were introduced to screenwriters Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and singer Billie Eilish and her musician brother Finneas O'Connell, who co-wrote the new Bond theme song.

Meghan Markle’s secret tribute to Archie and Lilibet

Eagle-eyed fans spotted the mum-of-two was wearing a gold bracelet which featured their names.

Their monikers were engraved on the beautiful band as Meghan visited the United Nations on Saturday.

One royal fan said on Twitter: “Her personalised jewellery is so cute. I love how everything has sentimental value.”

While another added: “Cute. Meghan is really a sweetheart.”

Alongside the golden band, the Duchess wore Princess Diana’s $23,000 (£16,642) gold Cartier watch and a £5,800 Cartier Love bracelet, which we’ve seen in the past.

‘Fighting back to clear his name’

PRINCE Andrew has reportedly vowed to “fight back” to clear his name with claims he has dramatically changed his strategy in the Virginia Roberts sex assault case.

Andrew, 61, has vehemently denied the allegations in the past.

But the prince has finally conceded that the legal papers relating to the sex assault claims have been served.

In a joint stipulation filed on Friday in a US federal court, Andrew’s attorneys confirmed they had received copies of the complaint and summons.

However, Andrew’s lawyers plan to “examine and dismantle the claims one by one”.

A well-placed source said the decision to bring in Andrew Brettler, the Duke’s high-profile US lawyer, marks a “significant turning point” in the proceedings.

“The US team will be looking to robustly engage and challenge the claims from Mrs Giuffre in a bid to provide the Duke with a platform to finally clear his name,” the source said.

    Big hug

After flying across the country in their private jet, the Duke and Duchess touched down in Santa Barbara and were pictured embracing their team.

This comes just hours after they went on stage at a gig that called for climate change action – and demanded tough new eco laws to halve US emissions by 2030.

Harry and Meghan spoke at the star-studded Global Citizen Live concert in New York — dubbed “Wokestock”.

And it pressed the “wealthiest nations” to deliver on a £70billion-a-year pledge to help developing countries go green.

Explained: Sussexes’ speech at Global Citizen Live

Global Citizen lists “defeat poverty” as one of its objectives.

Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, were cheered as they walked hand-in-hand on to the stage. They spoke to promote “vaccine equity” and tore into big drug firms.

Harry said: “Many countries are ready to produce vaccines but ultra-wealthy pharmaceutical companies are not sharing the recipes to make them.”

Meghan added: “It is wrong that so much of the vaccine supply has only gone to just ten wealthy nations and not everyone else. It’s just not OK.

“Just think about the millions of vaccines that have been discarded this year. That’s like throwing away life vests, when those around you are drowning.”

    Tiara tantrum

Prince Harry’s rage over Meghan Markle’s wedding tiara sparked their tensions with the palace – but it was the Duchess who was branded difficult, a royal expert has claimed.

In the bombshell piece, Andrew Morton, the author of Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, claimed “Harry was the ‘prime mover’ in souring relations”.

In six new chapters of the book which was first published in 2018, Mr Morton claimed the colossal rift between the Sussexes and the Firm began with Harry sticking up for his wife-to-be before they tied the knot.

In November 2018, The Times reported that Meghan had thrown a “tiara tantrum” shortly before her wedding because the tiara she wanted to wear was not available.

But now Morton has relieved that it was actually Prince Harry that had kicked off leading up to their big day.

He wrote: “Harry was the ‘prime mover’ in souring relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, but it was Meghan who ‘took the hit’.”

The Duke of Sussex reportedly ‘shouted’ at royal dresser Angela Kelly when the tiara Meghan had planned on wearing for the wedding could not be produced for an unscheduled hair appointment.

He says that Harry “was overwrought” when he learnt that the tiara was not available and told “anyone that would listen” that: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”

Meghan Markle wants to star in superhero movie, expert claims

The Duchess of Sussex wants to return to the big screen and star in a superhero film, it has been suggested to royal biographer Angela Levin.

Suggestions were made earlier this week that Meghan, 40, may go back on her decision to retire her acting career – and star in a blockbuster film.

Sources said in early 2020 that her agent was actively looking for a superhero role for the Duchess – but plans were seemingly halted by the Covid pandemic.

Speaking about what’s next for the Duchess in the post-pandemic world, Ms Levin told the Sun Online: “I heard that Meghan had gone back on saying that she’s not going back to doing acting.

“She wants to be the star of a superhero in a film.”

    Meghan’s sweet tribute to Diana

During Harry and Meghan’s appearance at the Global Citizen Live concert in Central Park, New York on Saturday Meghan was spotted holding the Dior Lady D-Lite handbag.

This bag was one of the go-to bags favoured by Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

The bag was originally called the Chouchou (French for “favourite”) and was given to Diana in 1995 by French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac’s wife Bernadette.

The princess soon snapped up the bag in several colours and even carried it with her during one of her own trips to New York when she attended the 1996 Met Gala.

In fact, Diana loved the bag so much, its name was changed to the Lady Dior bag that same year, according to Vogue.

      ‘Royal version of the Kardashians’

The Sun’s new columnist, Piers Morgan, says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been a “relentless orgy of money-grabbing duplicity” since moving to the US.

But while the Kardashians, who have made their millions from life in the public eye, are “honest” about their mission to become billionaires, Meghan and Harry are not – according to Piers.

He said the former royals “have their noses permanently rammed in the regal trough” and “intend to keep them there until they’ve made themselves repulsively rich and famous”.

“In this regard, they’re the royal version of the Kardashians,” Piers writes in the Daily Mail.

He describes them as “people with no discernible talent other than for pimping themselves out to the highest bidders and a craven desire to air their dirty family linen in public for financial gain.”

      Inside Harry & Meghan's garden

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry may have left behind palace life, but their new £11million mansion’s grounds are certainly fit for royalty.

From a huge adventure playground for the kids, to fairy-tale walkways, their garden has proven to be a natural choice to host some of the couple’s recent photoshoots.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their Montecito pad in 2020 and have given royal fans a glimpse inside the spectacular garden.

In their recent cover shoot for Time's list of top 100 most influential people, the couple were photographed walking through their grounds.

One of the shots shows Meghan and Harry walking along a gravel pathway surrounded by tropical plants and trees.

      'Vacuous and nauseating'

Harry and Meghan spoke at the star-studded Global Citizen Live concert in New York — dubbed “Wokestock.”

Royal author Penny Junor, 71, told The Sun: “I do think this is hypocrisy. I’m sure there were plenty of scheduled flights.”

Meanwhile Angela Levin, Prince Harry's biographer, said their stage appearance was "nauseating".

She said: "Harry was like a cheerleader, or master of ceremonies, whipping up the crowd with shouts of ‘Come on, we want this!’ and the crowd yelling ‘Yeah!’ and Meghan chipping in with, ‘It’s got to happen.’

"When the reality is they are not experts about COVID-19 or climate change. It’s all so vacuous and superficial, and aimed at a US audience that’s lapping it all up."

Harry to meet Jon Bon Jovi

PRINCE Harry will appear alongside rock star Jon Bon Jovi as he returns to New York for a gala honouring the military.

The Duke of Sussex will head back to the big apple weeks after he and wife Meghan took to the stage for their "vacuous and nauseating" Covid concert appearance.

This time round, father-of-two Harry will present without his wife at the Intrepid Valour Awards, hosted onboard the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid.

Five service members, veterans and military families living with “the invisible wounds of war” will accept their awards from the duke at the Salute to Freedom gala on November 10.

Singer Bon Jovi will also appear to receive his lifetime achievement award.

The event at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum falls one day before Armistice Day – known as Veterans Day in America.

      Who is Shukri Walker?

Shukri Walker's statement could contradict Prince Andrew's claim that he had "no recollection" of meeting Virginia Giuffre.

The woman, from London, claims she remembers the night because she apologised to Prince Andrew after standing on his foot on the dancefloor.

But in a BBC Newsnight interview in 2019, Prince Andrew insisted he was not at the nightclub on that night – because he was with his daughter in Pizza Express in Woking, Surrey.

Ms Walker, then 28, said: "He (Andrew) looked like he was having a great time. And he was with this young girl who was close to my own age, perhaps even a bit younger than me. The young woman wasn’t smiling, it was the opposite of smiles.

‘They were with the woman who (had) just been arrested, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Epstein. I will never forget the night because I was told this is a real Prince.”
