TACKLING your grubby shower screen is a task many people dread, so finding a fuss-free cleaning solution is paramount.
One woman claims she's found an effortless way to keep her shower spotless and revealed she uses a drill to get the job done.
The cleaning fanatic shared the unique method on the Mums Who Clean Facebook group and said the idea came to her after struggling to find a device that kept her glass clean.
But it's not the actual drill that does the hard work as the woman revealed she uses a sponge attachment which effectively scrubs away build up.
She wrote: "My shower screens needed a good clean and had a lot of buildup on them. I hope this helps all the mums on here that struggle with keeping their shower screens clean."
"There is very little effort needed because the drill does all of the scrubbing."
She purchased a drill sponge attachment on eBay and secured it to the front of the tool.
Then she used a water spot remover product to tackle the marks – and the results are incredible.
While she picked up a specific glass-cleaning product from a local store in Australia where she lives, the method would no doubt work with whatever product you choose.
She shared snaps of her shower before and after the deep clean showing just how effective her method is.
"This is amazing! I wonder if my husband would kill me if I used his drill for this?" one person wrote.
And a second added:"I would never have thought to do this. Thanks for the heads up!"
If you're thinking of giving it a go yourself, be sure the sponge is firmly attached before you put it against the glass screen, to avoid it flying off.
And don't apply too much pressure to the glass – you don't want to end up with a broken shower screen.
