Extreme toilet cleaning is the new viral trend Mrs Hinch wannabes are obsessed with

SCRUBBING your loo is an unwelcome chore most of the time, and one that can’t be avoided.

But rather than begrudgingly getting out bleach and a loo brush, some Mrs Hinch wannabes have taken their routine to the next level with extreme, colourful cleans.

Cleaning fans are sharing clips to TikTok showing off their sparkling toilet bowls and multi-coloured designs, as they turn their loos into works of art using their specific regimes.

The hashtag ‘toilet tok’ has taken off on the platform – though if you want to copy at home be careful about what you pour down the pipes as mixing chemicals can be dangerous.

One woman, called Home With Chloe, has shared numerous videos as she bleached her toilet with pink, blue and even yellow products.

She uses a range of branded products, including Bloo and Duck, captioning one of the rose-themed clips: "On Wednesdays we clean PINK."

While another woman used a cloth to empty out her bowl of water, before deep cleaning it with Harpic.

By removing all the water she let the product go right to the bottom to work its magic, before she popped on a pair of Marigolds and rolled up her sleeves.

Using Mrs Hinch's must-have Scrub Daddy, she scoured the loo, going all the way to the bottom, and she even captioned the clip 'Hinching'.

Meanwhile another cleaning fan created a 'unicorn toilet' using blue and pink shades, before tackling the bowl with the toilet brush, and using wipes on the seat.

And another Hincher used her favourite The Pink Stuff and a Minky cloth to disinfect the outside of the loo, including the seat and the cistern, before she went to town on the bowl.

The clips have racked up thousands of views as fellow cleaning fans marvelled at the rainbow-coloured loos, as they shared tips and future colour schemes to try out.

One said: "That even cleaned my soul."

Another said: "Please can you do pink and blue."

A third commented: "I love it and it's a toilet."

While this fan admitted: "It's 10.52pm and I'm going to start cleaning."

And this woman keeps her loo smelling fresh without cleaning it everyday – and all you need is a bottle of Fabuloso & a knife.

Meanwhile this clever Lenor hack leaves your bedsheets smelling gorgeous – and it’s cheap and easy to do.

Plus this super-organised mum reveals how to remove creases from your bed sheets WITHOUT ironing them.
