South Californian mainstays Blends and Vault by Vans have come together once again, this time around tapping the Born Free motorcycle show to create an OG Old Skool LX.
This new pair takes cues from previous Blend x Vault by Vans pairs, such as the Sk8 Hi that featured a tri-colored Jazz stripe and their previous collaboration with Born Free.
The result is an OG Old Skool LX that’s made from soft tumbled leather in black, comprising the mid-panels, Jazz stripe, and lining. For the toe box, eyestay, tongue, and heel tab the trio of collaborators have used soft black suede, and to round out the pair’s detailing, they’ve also used premium waxed laces in black.
Nodding to previous collections is its Jazz stripe, which delivers a big serving of Americana thanks to its red, white, and blue color scheme. A classic white sole unit that’s finished with a black border line and white topstitching all-around finishes the pair.
The Blends x Born Free x Vault by Vans OG Old Skool LX will release on October 3 on Blends’ website in limited numbers. Take a closer look at the pair above.
