Everything Beyoncé touches turns to gold thanks to her inherent knack for timeliness and legions of loyal fans, and her IVY PARK athleisure label’s extensive partnership with adidas is no different. Since announcing a partnership in April 2019 and releasing the first IVY PARK x adidas product in January 2020, the duo has cranked out dozens of apparel, accessory and footwear styles, all of which sell out rapidly. Now, the Queen B and the Trefoil have readied three new shoes: an UltraBOOST, a Forum Mid and a Supersleek.
UltraBOOSTs serve up the most sporty style of the bunch, boasting a black Primeknit upper, black BOOST midsole and “Hi-Res Yellow” outsole made of Continental rubber. They may appear simple at first glance, but are richly detailed thanks to an embroidered Three Stripe graphic on the midfoot cage, a debossed IVY PARK hit on the suede heel clip, a curled rope heel tab and a special toggle lacing system.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Forum Mid serves classic adidas Originals flair with a white and black leather build, interspersed with pops of tan and wheat suede. The Supersleek is the most simple style of the bunch, with a Samba-inspired upper mixing black suede and leather with a ribbed tongue, all atop a thick gum midsole. A small IVY PARK hit appears on the foxing and a signature detail is served up by a special eyestay system that snakes around the upper before coming to rest on the heel. All three pairs also arrive with a large IVY PARK fabric tag clipped to the back.
Beyoncé’s IVY PARK x adidas UltraBOOST, Forum Mid and Supersleek are available on the adidas webstore in select sizes now, with prices ranging from $120-$200 USD.
